RIG INSPECTION

We pride ourselves on our extensive engineering knowledge, and our ability to deliver a 60-strong team of engineering professionals who can provide you with a rig audit and inspection service that will deliver significant cost, time and safety benefits.
Our rig inspection services personnel are available on a "call out basis" anywhere in the world. Working alongside your own rig management team, we will define and tailor the precise scope of service that fits your specific needs.

That's why we provide our rig inspection services on a modular basis. That way we can agree the exact requirement with you and match the precise resources you require to meet your needs. We work globally, delivering our services where you need them - either at the rig fabrication yard or 'in service' at the rig location.

To provide you with the precise information you require, organised to suit your needs, we utilise our bespoke TRAMS (Technical Reporting Audit Management System) reporting software. Using this system we can enter, analyse and produce comprehensive reports from data generated during audits and inspections.
WE HAVE TRAINED SPECIALIST PERSONNEL AVAILABLE TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
Inspection and condition assessments (and audits) of offshore drilling rigs including relevant equipment and verification of personnel qualifications. Including:
Rig Selection Survey
Rig Condition Survey
Rig Acceptance / Endurance Survey
Dropped Object Survey
ICSIS - Integrated Control Systems Inspection Services
Health, safety and environmental surveys
Risk management (analysis evaluation)
Training courses (Inspection criteria of equipment, rig and equipment maintenance, HAZOP - industrial Hazard Analysis)

For each of these types of survey, we will prepare a dedicated and bespoke "Inspection Program" based on detailed checklists and relevant international industry standards. This is available to the Client and can be modified on request to commencement of the project.

The emphasis in all our auditing lies with the operability and reliability of the rig together with the ongoing safety of the crew and the environment.

BOP & WELL CONTROL
Arguably the most critical area on any rig, BOP and well control equipment constitutes the high-risk part of any oil and gas extraction process. To this end we have developed a dedicated division whose sole remit is to specialise in inspecting and identifying potential risk, analyse consequence and provide corrective actions so as to eliminate the potential negative impact on cost, time and safety of well control systems and equipment.

Managed by personnel with over 20 years specific well control equipment experience and supported by the most technological advanced communication systems. Our BOP & Well Control Division inspections utilise ADC’s unique TRAMS (technical reporting audit management system) as well as adhering to all relevant API specification and recommended practice documents as well as specific manufacturer’s operational manuals, which include:

API SPEC 6A: Wellhead and Xmas Tree Equipment
API SPEC 16A: Drill Through Equipment
API SPEC 16C: Choke and KILL Systems
API SPEC 16R: Marine Riser Couplings
API Standard - 53 4th edition, November 2012: BOP Equipment Systems for Drilling Wells
API RP-64: Diverter Systems Equipment & Operations
We believe it’s essential to involve and work with the rig contractor during the inspection process. In reviewing existing maintenance records and inspection reports our engineers can advise on shortcomings and help support and encourage best practice.

We understand that hardware and documentation have equal importance in our industry and we treat them as such.
